Chris Wittmann brings enthusiasm, leadership, and a strong commitment to growth to his role as President of the Panorama Toastmasters club. Having demonstrated consistent dedication to the Toastmasters mission, he has developed valuable skills in communication, meeting management, and team collaboration that make him well-prepared to lead the club. Chris utilizes his ability to motivate others, foster an inclusive environment, and guide members toward achieving their goals. Outside of Toastmasters, he works as a laboratory technician at Temple University, where he has learned from a variety of scientific presentations. In the fall of 2026, Chris will pursue a master’s degree at Thomas Jefferson University to put his Toastmasters skills to the test. For fun, Chris likes to work out at the gym, try new restaurants, and play games with his friends.

My name is Jamal (the “e” is silent) Barone is a Pennsylvania native who’s come back to Philadelphia after 20 years in other metropolises (Boston, New York and San Francisco). I’ve been a member of Panorama Toastmasters for 1 year and my philosophy is every day’s a school day. 

I've worked in hospitality, marketing, politics, non-profit and, since 2023, in development at CHOP Foundation. All of these industries have been opportunities to showcase the speech and leadership skills that I’ve acquired through Toastmasters. 

In my free time, I focus on intentional maintenance of my mind (travel, learning and writing), body (exercise) and spirit (practicing my faith and community organizing). I also enjoy cooking, traveling and volunteering my time for people-empowering causes.

Peter Elliffe is Panorama Toastmasters’ Vice President of Education and has been attending club meetings since January 2026.  A North Jersey native (and unfortunately a fan of the New York Giants and New Jersey Devils), he moved to Philadelphia in 2018 and earned his Bachelor’s of Business Administration at Temple University in 2023. For work, Pete is an insurance underwriter at Guardian Life and does part-time work at Pearl & Mary Oyster Bar as a food runner and busser. Historically, he has struggled with learning disabilities such as autism and ADHD since his early childhood up to adulthood, striving to inspire those in similar situations to pursue a public speaking journey at Toastmasters. Outside of meetings, Pete likes to go to work out, explore food scenes in Philly and elsewhere, help others with exercise and nutrition, and collect vinyl records spanning various genres.

Juan Rojas is a Philly native who loves exploring other cities and experiencing different cultures. After living in Brooklyn and Queens for three years, he gained a greater appreciation for New York's diversity, energy, and unique neighborhoods.

After his New York experience, Juan decided to move back to Philadelphia to embark on a transformation from the traditional 9-to-5 corporate lifestyle and immerse himself in the real estate business. During that same time, he joined Toastmasters to improve his communication skills and better serve his community and clients.

Outside of showing homes, Juan is an active salsa dancer. He enjoys dropping into classes and attending social dance events throughout the East Coast, from Washington, D.C. to New York City. Salsa On2 and Bachata are some of the dance styles he enjoys the most, offering opportunities to connect with people from different backgrounds and cultures.

As a newer Toastmasters member, Juan hopes to help revive and strengthen public relations efforts while continuing to develop his leadership skills along the way.

Juan believes that growth happens outside of your comfort zone, whether it's speaking in front of an audience or embracing the next opportunity to learn, connect, and make a positive impact.

With 16 years of experience navigating Corporate America—specializing in sales, operations, and process improvement—I joined Panorama in November 2024 and stepped into Toastmasters to conquer my own presentation goals and build confidence. Now, as Sergeant at Arms, I bring my passion for teamwork and operational efficiency to our club. I’m dedicated to managing the behind-the-scenes logistics so that every member has what they need to focus on growing as speakers and leaders.

Bob joined Toastmasters in 2011 and has since been an active participant across numerous clubs in the Northeast. His journey with Toastmasters reflects a deep commitment to personal growth and community engagement. Over the years, Bob has become a familiar face in the organization, attending meetings, workshops, and conferences with unflagging enthusiasm. His dedication to the Toastmasters mission is evident in his consistent efforts to support club activities, mentor new members, and contribute to the overall vibrancy of Toastmasters clubs.

Passionate about empowering others, Bob finds great joy in helping individuals recognize their worth and potential. He has a natural talent for guiding people to overcome their fears of public speaking and develop their leadership abilities. Through personalized coaching and constructive feedback, Bob has played a role in many members' journeys toward becoming confident and effective communicators. His supportive approach and unwavering belief in others' abilities have made him a valued mentor and an inspiring figure in the Toastmasters community.
